The Mountain Roots Group specializes in residential real estate with an emphasis on STRs, and investment property. The areas we service are destination markets, and rely heavily on investors and tourism to fuel the local economy. We do our best to stay on top of changes within the communities that directly affect investors so we can provide the most up-to-date guidance to our clients. Having resided in North Georgia for over 25 years we are intimately familiar with the area and we have developed relationships with many of the local agencies and authorities. My name is April Patterson. I grew up in central Oklahoma until joining the Navy at 21 years old. The Navy brought me to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in 2003. I have been here ever since. I took multiple programs at Skagit Valley College. I completed my Human Services degree and the Entrepreneurship program as well as the Criminal Justice program. I chose to become a Realtor because I saw the benefits of building generational wealth and wanted to help others along their journey. I am a strong advocate of veterans services as I am the Finance Officer for the American Legion in Burlington, WA. I love the Pacific Northwest (PNW) community and supporting local businesses. I am involved in Rotary, multiple chambers, veterans services, and more! I look forward to showing you why having a local agent to advocate for you matters!
