Ryan Long is a passionate, licensed real estate broker. He was raised in Corvallis, has an exceptional knowledge of the real estate market, and is the owner and manager of his own personal investment property. As the son of a highly successful real estate professional, Ryan not only inherited exposure to the real estate industry, but also developed a keen aptitude from his sincere knowledge of, interest, and experience in the industry. He brings three decades of experience to the Sue Long Realty Group, along with a strong background in both investments and finances. Ryan excels in the areas of communication, negotiation, and valuation.
As your Realtor, Ryan has extensive knowledge of the different cities and neighborhoods across the Corvallis area. He serves the entire Mid-Willamette Valley region area (including Corvallis, Philomath, Albany, Lebanon, Adair Village, and more) and specializes in home buying and investment properties. Ryan understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in the Corvallis, with its unmatched scenery, culture, and opportunities. Ryan thoroughly loves his job, and he will work tirelessly to promote your best interests, especially for first time home buyers. His long-term aspiration is to grow the Sue Long Realty Group and help bring more affordable housing options to the community.
Before becoming licensed, Ryan graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. He has also earned an MBA from the University of Utah with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate. During this time, he was a member of multiple cheerleading teams, including: The University of Oregon, The Portland Trailblazers, and The Seattle Supersonics. Afterwards, Ryan coached both the Portland State University and StyleShock All-Star's cheer teams, as well as helped to start the first ever Special Needs cheerleading team in the Pacific Northwest. Also a Veteran, Ryan served in the Oregon Army National Guard with the 1249th and the 162nd Engineer Battalion.
Outside of work, he is a very active and connected community member. He loves being in the mountains around Oregon while hiking, biking and snowboarding. He also enjoys international travel, which have provided exceptional opportunities for his other hobby, road and mountain bike touring. He has competed in endurance cycling races in Italy, Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also cycled the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and the Baja Divide! Closer to home, one of Ryan’s personal passions is LiveCorvallis, a video project he started that documents events, festivals, businesses and activities in the Corvallis/Albany area.
