Hi Dale! Congratulations on your purchase. I am looking to buy in the area as well and have sent significant amount of time there making contacts. I can share with you one of the contacts for property management company that I liked more than others. I believe their fees and approach is more reasonable than some of the other ones I spoke with. Send me a message please if you are still looking and I will send you the info. Cheers!

I'm considering to invest in Mexico, doing my research now and planning a trip to investigate more. I like the idea, but not sure yet if it would be good investment and not too much headache.

I'm looking to invest in a multi-family and hope to get some guidance and expand my network. I've been a SFH investor and would like to expand to a multi family. How different is multi-family from single family? What should I consider getting into it? Any multi-family investors in Houston I can connect with? Any information, guidance, tips, referrals are greatly appreciated!!

Hello everyone!

I have a rental property that rents for $2000/ month. My tenant has been there for a while and is interested to buy it by doing owner finance. I am interested to sell as this property is not really cash flowing. I still have a mortgage balance on this house at around $208K. The house market price is $290K. The buyer can put $20K down, less than 10%. With that down payment, I was considering doing 30 years amortized loan at 7.5%. Their monthly would certainly be higher than what they are paying now. Do you think it’s a fair interest rate, considering overall lower rates right now? My interest rate on this property is 4%. Any advice or insights, please! This is my first owner finance deal. Thank you!

Hi all! I am considering to do owner finance on one of my rental properties in Texas. I have never done this before and looking for any insights, cons and pros, how these type transactions work and who do I need to get involved (attorney, title company, etc.) Thank you!

Hello everyone! My name is Zarina and I live in Houston, TX. I am rather new to RE investing, but I have always been interested in RE and RE investing. So, I'm eager to learn everything there is to learn and very excited to meet and network with like- minded people, get inspiration and knowledge, and eventually do REI full time ( I currently work in the Oil&Gas sector). I'd like to meet more new people that do REI, especially local investors in Houston, TX, and may be find a mentor who I could consult with from time to time.

I'm glad to be part of BiggerPockets, it really seem like a great place to be!

I wish you all luck in all your REI endeavors! :)
