@Andrew Syrios

Great thank you! I will talk to the building department tomorrow, I have seen previous permits that have been pulled and even some of the inspections that have been done. I just want to make sure I’m not buying something with a skeleton In the closet kind of thing and not be able to finish the house myself. Because in my opinion it’s crazy they never finished the house with how little is left to do.

So I have flipped 4 houses now and buying my 5th. The only thing is, it’s completely different than what I am used to. So the house was built in 2000 and was just never completed. Outside is completely done, septic is installed, well has been drilled but no pump, and inside has been framed, wired, and plumbed.

My question is since I’m not a GC do I have to have one for this project? Since the house never had a final inspection done? I’m new to pulling permits and getting inspections etc. Just trying to figure out a good starting point.

Eventually I would like to get into flipping houses, and have several higher income rental properties as well. Obviously I will need some capital before focusing on my own flips and properties. My question is what kind of job should I look for in the real estate industry?
