I think you're definitely right about the ratio of landlords to voters.  I don't think this is a program that's going to end in March either.  I'd hate to see Portland devolve into what's happening in Seattle or San Francisco.

I have over $100k in equity in a rental property...I am unable to use it because of fees associated with HELOC and refinancing. How do I get past this? Do I have to use a hard money lender?

Emotional Support Animals It looks like 23 states along with the DOJ and DOT have already taken measures to reduce fraudulent claims regarding emotional support animals. CAI is asking HUD to consider the same measures in regards to the Fair Housing Act. This seems like a good idea that is trending in the right direction. Thoughts.

I just made an all cash purchase. I was unable to gain favorable leverage due to some credit issues. The fees the lenders wanted up front made leverage impractical. I intend to take out a HELOC against the property I just purchased and use that capital to make additional leveraged purchases. Seems to me you might be able to do this as well. Thoughts?

@Jabari Long I'd love to be on your distro list for available properties. My intent is to buy and hold. I'd prefer MFHs but would consider SFR if the yield is good. What do you need from me?

I hear alot folks commenting on Ohio and that's great to hear.  My questions are What's causing the growth in Ohio?  Is it sustainable?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.
