@Elizabeth Wilson thank you for your input. Yes, I'm sure it is a tough market. I'm still new to this idea of offering someone money for their house when they are in pre-foreclosure. Although, to snag a bite, on a right deal would be awesome.

How I would I go about going to check on pre-foreclosures to make deals with owners, if I were to check them out at the courthouse? What would I say and what would I be looking for?

Thank you for your input. I have not read those books. My library currently doesn't have them. Guess I will have to check online.

I'm currently living in Farmington, NM. I bought a house when oil production slowed down. Hopefully the local economy comes back. Lots of workers left the state when oils production stopped. So now may be a time to buy some property in NM. I don't know the data or the numbers, you may have to look into that. I was in ABQ today and saw some good property locations.

I'm looking to read to some books for the summer (I'm a teacher) and would love your input. I know there is Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the Richest Man in Babylon. What book has helped you and why?

Thank you for your input. It has helped a lot.

I have a degree in Biology. I'm a teacher right now. I considered getting an MBA to help me know more about business and hoping it might help me with teaching as well.

Hello,

I think I found myself in a bit of a situation. I bought a house about a year ago and I live in it. I don't have enough funds to buy a second house or to move out. I am considering getting roommates to live in the other two bedrooms. Does anyone have any advice on how to make this work?

@Elizabeth Wilson thank you for your input. So are you saying its more important to explore the world of business by working in business, rather than going to school for it?

I am wondering if it would be wise for, a person like me who doesn't know business or have any business experience, to go to business school and graduate to get an MBA degree. Does anyone have any input to this?
