@Cameron Hunter Hey Cameron. I have my eyes set on the inner loop, but I am open to going outside if the deal is good enough (definitely in these times where people are moving outside the city because of remote work. we will see how that continues to play out.) In the inner loop, I am thinking of the Edo area (thinking about demand UH students and Houston office workers), the Rice area (same thing but Rice Students), and the heights/Rice Military area (Where I am now). What is your motivation for going the Wholesaling route? I would love to hear it. I have "Meet Ups" the app now; what Meet Ups have you found the most valuable for the House Hacking approach? I need to start becoming familiar with them and go! Maybe I could join you once or twice if you are open enough. Do you have any referrals for agents that might be interested in helping me or chatting with me during this time of saving? Looking forward to your response!

Hello, Bigger Pocket Community!

I am a 27-year-old living in Houston, Texas, working for an Energy Company Building RPA Automations (Digital Robots). I have read a lot of the BiggerPockets books starting with "The House Hacking Strategy," and knew this was the answer for my next venture. For the past 3 years, while helping a family, I have dive deep into books and podcasts until my mother was back on her feet. Now I am free and have my own place. I currently have no debt, good credit, and my goal by the later of next year is to have ~$70k at my disposal for my first live-in investment. I love talking about real estate, learning from others, words of encouragement, and forming real business relationships. I would love to met anyone willing to leave a comment or send a DM. 

I am particularly interested in Houston Market and anyone who operates in the area or has experience investing in the area. I would love to learn from you, get some referrals to start building a team, and I also would love to figure out how I can be of service to you. I am excited to meet you and learn from everyone in the space.

Hello, I am starting to look into properties for my single-family house hack. How do you determine rent? How easily were you able to sell the rooms. I do have the ability to put 20% down. I'm sure that will help as well.
