Quote from @Matt Bridgman:

I believe the LTV for investment side of UWM's HELOC is 75% and it will be a full doc loan so their will be income qualifications. That will be a tight box for most investors. How much you need and what are you looking to do?

Hi, Matt

Thank you for your reply.

I need and want $50K
Property Value:$270K~$290K
Loan balance:$160K

Purchasing a new home or renovation on my primary residence.

What is the minimum amount they would lend?

Hello,

It's Yusuke from Chicago.

I heard that UWM is lending a HELOC not only on a primary residential but on an investment property.

I own a rental property and would like to take a HELOC on investment property.

The problem is that they don't work with borrowers directly and have to be through mortgage/loan broker.

Is someone working with UWM (United Wholesale Mortgage) ?

Thank you,

Yusuke

Quote from @John Warren:

@Yusuke Koike why wouldn't you use a regular conventional loan at that point? If the condo is warrantable, you will get much better terms with a traditional lender.

Hi, John

individual's DTI is considered in the evaluation of a conventional loan
I own two mortgages which are both conventional loans.
