I live in the bay too and share your same goals. Me and my wife are starting the process of buying an out of State rental property. We are meeting with a turnkey company next week to discuss some options. I have been addicted to these forums since Thursday and can't stop. I'm learning something everyday. Hopefully you can get a start soon. Take care.

My initial thought is sell the property and use the equity to buy cheaper properties with more potential for cash flow throughout Canada. BUT...is this even possible in the Canadian Market. If so would make Canadian money that I'll get double taxed on if I ever want to bring it to the US. Is it even worth it? I just don't know what to do? Please help!

I'm a Canadian that lives in the California. I have about $100000 in equity in a rental property up in Canada that I bought years ago with no knowledge of real estate what so ever. The rent is $1100. Mortgage is $700. Hoa $100. Taxes $150. It all adds up to almost zero cash flow. After learning the ropes a little I'm realizing that I need to change this situation. What would you do???

I'm trying to decide whether to go with a turnkey company or to start trying to form my own team to make my first deal.  It also crossed my mind that maybe I will use a turnkey company to get my foot in the door and then move on to doing it all myself with networking ect.  What are your thoughts on this.  Seems like turn key is the safer bet especially  since I'm an out of state investor.

We are planning to buy investment property on the Indianapolis area. We are new to investing and seem to like the idea of turnkey properties but are not sure how to get started. Anyone of you out there can through a dog a bone and give me a little advice on this. We are looking for quality investment homes for long term. Any advice is appreciated

Me and my wife are interested in Investing in the Atlanta area and would like to know some investor feedback on the market and area. We are also curious to know if anyone out there can recommend and good realtor and property manager. Lastly we are wondering what your thoughts are on turn key investment companies for out of state investors like ourselves. Can't wait to here from everyone and all your posts are much appreciated.
