Honestly, anything I can do to get my feet wet. I am open for any suggestions and would love to get going. I just need to know what I can do with it first so I can do my research.

I heard of this idea before; buying unused land out west where, as of today, nothing could be built on it. The purpose of buying this land is so that when population expands they will eventually need your land.

Does anyone know anything about this topic?

I am interested in it since land is so cheap but would I ever see a return on it within my lifetime? I am 20 right now.

I have read this forums all day and love the info I am gathering. I have been interested in investing in RE for a while now and finally found a forum to discuss it with people. The main thing I am trying to figure out right now is what kind of investment to do!

I am a 20 year old college student with a little bit of money to invest.

What are some low-cost investments I can get involved in, if any?

That would be a good idea but I do not have the money to build on it anytime soon. It is probably easier for people to built already existent homes and just rent them out.

As the need for land for construction expands, possibly it would approach my lot. Maybe I will reject this idea and continue on with my thought of real estate.

I have seen numerous properties foreclosed and on sale for under $10,000. Should I try starting out with one of those perhaps?

Dont worry, I am not going to jump right into this for a couple months anyways. I like to think hypothetically lol.

I am a college student with some money to invest. Is it possible for me to buy a foreclosed property? How hard would it be for me to do this?

If anyone can help me get started that would be great! I want to get involved in real estate since prices are so low and I got money to play around with.
