HI guys,

I need some advice here. I have a property manager who convinced me to do a quit claim deed to him so that the city will erase the debt on that property(electricity). That did not work. Now the deed is under his name and he also registered the title to the city. I asked him to do a quit claim back to me since it didn't work. He's stalling and does not answer my phone calls anymore. Is there anyway i can get the deed back? There's no contract or paperwork involved. Yes, I made a big mistake.
this is unethical for him to do that. Its in the city of Detroit. Any info would help.

Thanks

Anyone know where I can find a good property manager in Detroit?
I'm currently looking for one for a friend. Her property manager is not doing a good job. She bought a house last year in September. The manager is still in the process of the eviction. The tenant has not been paying the rent. The manager said that the court will evict them. Doe it take this long?

When you guys have rental income coming in every month, do you guys deposit the money into your personal account or business account? Is there an advantage? What do most landlords do?

Still learning....
thanks

I would like to know how many people here are living off rental income. The ability to quit your 9 to 5 job and manage properties sounds interesting! If you're doing this, please include how many rentals you currently own. Thanks!
