@Lexi Teifke Looking one year out (September 2019-September 2020) I would have liked to have sold 10 homes as a real estate agent networked with local real estate investors and potentially purchased a home that I could live in my final year of school while renting out the additional rooms to friends.

Hi, I just finished my New York State real estate course. I will be taking the state exam at some point coming up.

I am a student at Rochester Institute of Technology and plan to attend school while also working as a real estate agent in the area.

I have about 4 months until I am actually going to be back in that area because I am currently working an internship. Does anyone have suggestions for what I should be doing in preparation for these 4 months before actually beginning work? I am currently trying to educate myself on surrounding areas and scripts, but I feel like I can only do so much while in Michigan.

Hi, I am new to Bigger Pockets and am currently studying at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am wondering if anyone has any insights on how I might get involved with real estate while still studying in school. I have read many books on buying/renting/selling real estate etc. but nothing beats real world experience.
