@Amy A. - Did you end up installing the two different soundproofing materials? I have a shared wall in my duplex where noise can be a problem. Did you install the materials yourself? Do you mind sharing estimated costs?

Thanks,

Kyle

BP Experts,

My wife and I bought a duplex and we're going to occupy one side and rent the other. The timing is going to be a little difficult to fill the empty side.

Here's the situation; we close 8/19, the occupant on empty side moves out 8/31, and we'd like to advertise the unit for 9/1. We can't do any showings or an open house until after we close. Suggestions on how to fill the unit for September?

Thanks,

KW

I am closing on a property in the middle of next month. I am occupying one side of the unit, and the other side has a renter through the month and then will be empty. Can I start advertising the rental side of the duplex before I close on it? I want to post pictures on Craiglist and announce an open house shortly after showing.

Thanks,

KWW

Post: LLC - Multiple Agents

Bill,

Thanks for the response. The scenario was we were both looking separately at investments properties and realized it would make sense for us to form an LLC for a particular property to purchase together. We haven't set up the LLC yet and I was quick wondering how it'd work with two agents representing us individually.

Sounds like we can sign an exclusive agent contract under the LLC name and it wouldn't interfere with my signing the contract as an invidiual. Is that right?

Hello,

My friend and I are looking at purchasing a multi-unit property under an LLC. We both have real estate agents. Is it possible for both agents to represent us under the LLC? We've both signed Agent Exclusive Contracts.

Thanks,

W
