I everyone! I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time but am new to REI. in your experience is joining and going to REIA events worth it? I am really green and would love to learn more, but want to make sure I am seeking the right resources. I would love to join meet ups if you know of any in the area.

@Bob Okenwa Thanks! I purchased my last flip from a wholesaler in AZ and it worked out pretty well.  I would like to establish a couple wholesale relationships here too.  @Louis Davis Thanks for your advice, it does help!  Are you interested in selling to an investor to flip?

Hello Bigger Pockets! I am new to real estate investing but very eager to learn everything I can! I have done two flips in Arizona, but I live in Las Vegas and would love to flip homes here locally. I just got my real estate license and learned a lot from that course. Does anyone have any advice on deal flow? What is the best way to find distressed properties to flip? I feel like I have looked quit a bit on the MLS and haven't found much with acceptable comps for a decent upside. Any advice would be much appreciated. Also, I am looking for contractor referrals if you have any! Thanks!
