Phillip is correct. Lighting is key and really more important than the brand of the camera. Wide angle lenses are good also. I would go for 10-12mm wide angle lenses and at least f2.8, not f3.5 or f4.0 and certainly not f5.6.
As far as cameras go, one of the guru's I really respect and follow, Kirk Tuck, has recently recommended the Panasonic GH3 for video and pretty much anything else. But there are plenty of other cameras that will work if you have the right lens and lighting.
Learning how to light the interior of a home and balance that with light coming through windows to truly make the interior look great takes a bit of practice and some education. Here are a couple of good articles:
