Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Jon, you are spot on about Boulder and SLO (one is a lot warmer though!)

Careful when analyzing pending stats. Our charts look impressive but 60% is REO purchases.

Get a relationship with a title company by doing a deal with them and then ask if they will wave the fee for some minimum number of prelims per month.

As a REO listing agent, would you be inclined to work with an auction conducted by local professionals where your commission is completely preserved? What are the other objections you might have?

Jon,

Thanks for the reply.

I've been practicing real estate for 11 years now. I trained with Karen Barnardi in Boulder, CO and managed another office here in San Luis Obispo for about 5 years. In June of 2007 I bought Patterson Realty. We have 20 experienced agents and enjoy a fabulous reputation for expertise and professionalism.

I have personally begun REO and Short Sale investing and currently have 50 offers out on properties. So far, only 1 has come to fruition.

Additionally, we are conducting a home auction in San Luis Obispo and our goal is to sell 100 homes through that one day event.
