I would go with yellow to brighten it up and make it pop. It would give it an inviting feeling.

Thanks @Greg H.! I almost purchased a duplex with no heat source. The seller said tenants purchase space heaters. It was a deal breaker for me. The seller is a licensed agent and will be an instructor at local board of realtors.

Here in San Antonio market I have come across several duplexes without a heating source. Is it illegal not to provide a heating source for tenant?
