Kerry,

I’ve got a good contact for you and I live in Sanford as well. I own a State Farm insurance agency, am a general contractor with a very capable remodeling business and also flip around 1 home every 45 days. We should connect. Send me a message with your email if you’d like!

We are a fairly new company that does remodeling work, purchases investment properties and manages its own rentals. We are just branching out into hiring so this job will be a combination of a lot of different tasks and you will be asked to wear a lot of different hats. Local only, not remote.

This was mine as well, I attribute it to Robert Kiyosaki. Is that who you heard it from?

Nope I made this one up.

Jk

@Tyler Woodson Narrow down and pinpoint what your target property is, find it and pull the trigger. I’m only about 3 hours from you and am open to investing in other parts of NC if you are looking for a deal partner on your first one. We are on house 9, mostly flips but in the process of renovating a house right now that will be our first air b&b/short term rental.

@Jeffery Davis I’m no economist but from my little window I don’t see the same driving forces that caused the last crash. Will we have another correction sometime? Of course, but I don’t think there is another impending doom waiting around the corner.
@Mindy Jensen Purchasing now! Just listened to the podcast and it was great. We started last november and are in the middle of our 9th deal and are ready to get serious about ramping up and raising capital. Looking forward to the read!

@Bob Floss II I second that - i couldn’t understand it on the first deal this happened. We had a max bid of 36k set on autopilot, was the high bidder twice and they didn’t take it. 3rd time it went up I put 34k max and they took it!

@Joshua Dorkin Great article - I’ve purchased 7 REO homes in the last 9 months and missed a few of these.
