@Mike Wood It is a closing disclosure. I hope everyone is right on the final payment. Our loan is 7/1 Adjustable Rate. We refinanced once on our house with QL and it was free... At least they told us it was free

@Mike Wood That's what I thought going into close the house, but my attorney said my payment will be $1355.57... I wonder if he made a mistake in reading it?

We plan to refinance in probably upcoming months once our credit scores go back up

I've been trying to contact my lender but haven't gotten the answer. So I'm reaching out my BP members :)

My questions is based on this estimation, is my monthly paymnet $1070.42 or will it be $1070.42 + $285.15= $1355,57....

Thanks for your replies

If I decided to partner with someone to buy a rental property. He will be putting 20 % down payment and his name will be on the mortgage. However, we would want both our names on the title of the property. Will his finance revealed to me or will my finance revealed to him? I'd like to keep my personal finance and his finance confidential.

Jason Arcuri so it is contradicting right? My agent says it should be safe to sign and that the tenants will pay for utilities

I received the standard tenant at will lease agreement from my real estate agent.  There's this part that I don't understand.

"The LANDLORD shall pay all charges for water and shall reasonably supply hot water and heat (except to the extent that fuel for heat is separately metered to the Premises) during heating season, as required by applicable law or code. The TENANT agrees to act reasonably to avoid wasting of water, heating fuel or other utilities for which LANDLORD has agreed to pay."

Does this mean the landlord has to pay for the utilities? Then after this paragraph, it says:

Payments for utilities listed shall be made by:

Fuel for heat : tenant

Fuel for Hot water: tenant

Electricity: tenant

Gas: tenant

To me it's contradictory, first it says the landlord has to pay, then it says the tenant has to pay...Am I reading this incorrectly?

love the kitchen update!! what a transformation.

may I ask, after you got your real estate license, do you need to work for someone in order to get MLS access and look at the properties on your own?

@Douglas Snook yes we are using a realtor to purchase the house.  The attorney is charging a flat rate of $500.

@Mike Hurney The seller has been living there for more than 10 yrs. Do you think I should still do background check on them?  I feel like 6 months is perfect because by then it would be June, the time when I can easily find renter right? Wonder why you think 6 months is too long?
