Hi @Eudith Vacio, I appreciate the reply! As of now, I am looking at the North and Northwest Zones of Chicago that have been approved for ADU development. See below.

Hi all, I live in the Chicagoland area and am looking to purchase a multifamily property to house-hack in the next 3-6 months. I see that BP offers and agent finder that I plan on using, but I wanted to check on this thread and see if anyone had any recommendations for agents that I could reach out to. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I joined R2R back in March 2024. The R2R community is great and they offer tons of educational videos and regularly host webinars with their network of lenders, tax strategists, developers, etc. I have also interviewed several other R2R members and they are having a good experience thus far as well. Just be sure to run your own numbers and do your own due diligence before investing in their properties (which you should always do).

I plan to invest in one of their Ohio properties this fall/winter.

Thank you @Paul De Luca and @John Warren for the help! I will look into attending some meetups and will be sure to reach back out once I am closer to pulling the trigger on a property of interest.

Hi all,

Just joined the BP community and wanted to introduce myself. I am currently a graduate student in the Chicagoland area and I am aiming to purchase my 1st rental property (ideally a house-hack in a 3+ unit property) this summer / fall (ideally in Chicago or nearby suburbs). I look forward to building relationships with other BP investors!
