Hi All, hope all is well and that everyone is off to a good 2017. Would like some advice from fellow New Jersey investors/realtors. I'm thinking of buying a luxury condo as personal residence (not rental property) in Union city around Palisades Ave. Taxes are high in UC but wanted to get a general sense if investing in Union City make financial sense. Some folks that I speak to say UC the next Hoboken and there is potential for price appreciation and growth but am not quite convinced.

Would like to hear from UC investors and realtors regarding this topic.

Look forwarding to attending this event

I recommend voepel property management as well. As an out of state investor I found them reliable helpful beyond property management and super resposive to my queries etc.

@Christian Sifuentes, feel free to PM me to connect if you would like to discuss KC investments. More than happy to share my experience.

@Matthew McAlarney. Do you know of any good realtors in NJ who have experience working with investors.

Hi Will, investing in cash flowing properties in NJ is hard due to the factors (higgher price point, property taxes etc.) you mentioned. As such, I have not spent too much time looking into the NJ market. However, as with any market, there are always deals to be found and money to be made - just need to work hard and smart and put in the time. Perhaps, the NJ realtors/investors here can chime in and give you some advice.

My current focus is midwest. Hence the reason I was trying to connect with NJ investors that have successfully invested in midwest.

Good luck.......

Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I live in NJ, invest in SFHs in Midwest/Texas markets and wanted to see if there were any NJ investors that invest in these markets . Essentially, I'm looking to network and share investing ideas/experiences etc with local folks that invest out of state. If you are interested to connect, please let me know.

Have a good day.

Hi All,

I was wondering if RE investors from New Jersey in this forum know of any New Jersey RE networking events that take place on weekends. Weekdays dont work out for my due to work so I wanted to see if there were any events on weekends to check out.

Have a great weekend all.
