June 29, 2016 Meetup in Manhattan w/ BP Legends Carol & J Scott!

Hello fellow BiggerPockets members from and around the greatest city in the world, New York! I'm pleased to announce our next Meetup in Manhattan will be taking place on Wedneday June 29th at 6pm, so put it in your calendar.

I'm super excited about this event because we have not just one but two super stars in the world of real estate investing, @J Scott and his incredible wife Carol Scott!

For those of you who don't know Carol and J you're in for a treat!  There are few people on BiggerPockets with the experience and know how of these two.   They've flipped hundreds of homes and made millions doing so.  They've chronicled the events at www.123flip.com and also at www.thescottpad.com.  

J is also the author of the first super successful book series from BiggerPockets.com with The Book on Flipping Houses, How to Buy, Rehab, and Resell Residential Properties AND The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs: The Investor's Guide to Defining Your Renovation Plan, Building Your Budget, and Knowing Exactly How Much It All Costs.  

These books have been best sellers on Amazon for YEARS and helped pave the way for BiggerPockets becoming a power house in the world of real estate investing.  And now all of us get to hear from the two people that did all of it with tips and insight inside a more competitive market.   We're truly delighted to have both J and Carol with us on the 29th!

The event will take place at 27 East 28th Street in the WeWork space. We've been in a different WeWork space many times before and it's worked out great.  Glad to be back in another one of their locations. We'll start at 6pm and go to at least 9pm or until they kick us out.

As I have in the past, I want to personally thank Matt Rodak from FundThatFlip.com for getting us back to the WeWork space and making it happen.  Thanks Matt!   Expect to hear from him during the event about the great service that he provides and deservedly so. And that's the only "pitching of products or services" you'll hear outside what other members may talk to you about.

Even if you're brand new to BiggerPockets, a first time investor or a seasoned Pro, money lender or contractor, wholesaler or business professional, be sure to be there and meet other members and those interested in Real Estate investing from the NYC metro area which includes Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Orange County, Fairfield County CT, and Northern NJ.

There is no dress code. Come as you feel most comfortable to network with others. Just be prepared for a great event.
