I'm looking for a lender that will give a HELOC in a 3rd lien position for primary residence. I called up several banks and local credit unions and all of them only offer at 2nd lien position.

Anyone know of any lender who can do 3rd lien position?

I can relate to your dilemma. I've been an investor in JC as well and have witnessed first hand the rise, the dip and the "crazy" rise that JC has experienced recently. It would be good to connect.

Welcome to BP and Congrats on your first investment property!! I live in Jersey City and am seeing it first hand what you mean regarding the crazy sellers market. Good Luck and keep in touch!

I'm not sure if installing a new driveway requires a permit. Best is to call the city and ask. If not, the contractor you hire should be able to tell you as well.

I've lived in Jersey City for 10 years now and have seen the boom-bust-boom cycle that this city experienced. Currently the prices are off the roof for most of good areas in the city.
