I finally stopped lurking! New member from Jersey City, NJ

What's up everyone, 

After many months of listening to the BP podcasts and lurking on the forums, I've decided to jump in for good! Actually, my tipping was point was, after recently recommending BP to a friend, I found out that he had already started posting and meeting up with people, while I was still tip-toeing the diving board. The early bird...well, you know what happens. 

Anyways, I'm a recent home buyer/investor located in Jersey City. A few months ago, I closed on a condo in the Heights neighborhood (after going through a brutal sellers market), and am currently in the process of closing my first investment property.

I would love meet more people in the area as well as get some feedback from anyone with experience investing in the JC/Union City/Newark areas. There's definitely a lot of activity going on here and it reminds me a lot of what happened in Brooklyn, NY (lived there for the 8 years prior). 

Outside of real estate, I'm a big Boston Celtics fan, I work in the music industry and my favorite city in the world to visit is Tokyo. Look forward to getting to know y'all!
