@Chris Virgil-Stone How was your experience with them this past year? I'm looking into possibly using them myself.

Has anyone used Prime Corporate Services (PCS)? My partner and I set up a legal entity with them and are considering using their tax services - one time set up fee of $3k and $65/month retainer which includes annual K-1s (2 partnership LLCs) and personal returns for both partners. Seems almost too good to be true. Most CPAs want ~$1k/ filing so $4k in total.

Hey, how is Prime going for you? Do you like them and do you still use them?

@Luis Espinoza I would say you are better off finding a good asset protection/biz attorney and CPA combo. You'll prob pay more than the churn/burn services but you'll receive actual strategies and an ROI on your investment

I agree 100%  !!!

It’s always funny how many people are so quick to bash something despite someone sitting here telling you first hand it’s going well for him. “Because random internet sites said so” is a terrible reason to make a decision in this day & age. You mean places like the BBB where all you do is pay $600 to have a A+ rating? lol I’d much rather prefer hearing actual first hand opinions. Which in this case seem to be positive. Just my two cents. Also Pace Morby has an entire community of thousands of people who utilize their service as well & I’ve heard nothing but good reviews. But to each their own I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey, did you use Prime for your taxes?
I have heard about them from Pace and he is very adamant how good they are and etc.
I just joined them and was thinking how it is going for others

Thank you so much for your response, Chris. I had my consultation with them and they seem to be worth going with.

Hey! Alettia, are you still using Prime for your taxes? How is it going?

Quote from @Jacob H.:

Airbnb provides liability insurance and you should reach out to your homeowner's insurance company to get the details on your current liability insurance limits and coverage. I had a conversation with my insurance company about the Airbnb in my basement to make sure everything was squared away in the even there was a liability claim. Additionally, I purchased umbrella insurance if a guest was to sue and I end up being responsible for any damages on top of the liability coverage from Airbnb and the standard homeowner's insurance policy.

I'm not an attorney and can't speak for exactly what you'd be liable for people can sue for any and everything they feel they've been wronged for. In my opinion, it's good practice to cover yourself as much as possible, regardless of how safe you think your space is.

Thank you! I’ll look into insurance policies

Hello BP family,

I’m getting my house ready for Airbnb and was thinking to do a big loft net, there is a perfect space for that on my second floor loft room. It will be all the way covering open space, so it will be impossible to fall, unless the net gave in, which should not be happening since it build for loft nets and people to lay on it, however my concern is if there would something happen, how liable I am if something happens, or it’s something home insurance covers, just thinking of the loft net idea, or just close the space and make a regular bedroom and done even try the net.

Any thoughts and ideas on that.

thank you

I recently looked into this - the expensive part is drilling the well for water

 How expensive is that part?

Hi Nikki, I am also interested to get some land/real estate in Joshua Tree, let's connect and talk about it
