Hello BP members!

I’ve seen a property around my neighborhood, windows are boarded up

Seems like it’s vacant.

Ended up looking it up on the county assessor website and the owner of the home is the local housing authority.

With that being said, has anybody ever approached their housing authority to see if they can sell a property to you?

Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance! 🙌🏻

I own only one rental property which was used with a VA Loan

But got married and had to move out of state and I’m now renting that home.

I've read a bunch of Real Estate books saying how important it is to have a business bank account... with that being said I've also read that there is no need to open up an LLC right away since I still don't have the momentum or buying power to purchase properties really fast.

I do want to have a good foundation right now instead of fixing all the problems later, so can I open up a business account as a sole propiertor? Or since I only have 1 rental property I’m I good to just have the funds on a separate savings account

And keep all the expenses accounted for?

I’m planning on buying one rental property a year (House Hacking)

Thank you in advance!

Helpppppp!

I was in process to purchase my first home

I used the VA Loan with 0%

They were giving me 2.99% interest

Which was great but now... with the market being so volatile it went up to 3.87% in a matter of days

I was about to lock up the rate but had to come back to work were I get almost no signal

That day it went up to 3.5% and now today its at 3.87%

I have payed for the inspection and put some money into escrow

House was listed for $139k

Offered $133.5k

And got accepted I’m paying closing costs

House was a little below market value as most of the comps were listed for $140k - $145k

Any help on what to do?

Should I back out

Is it still worth the interest rate?

I’m I just freaking out because they offered a very low interest at first and now they changed it to that much?

@Timothy Smith

Got it man.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it !

@Timothy Smith

That’s amazing man!

Definitely going to look more into them,

Any problems at all or tips on working with JG?

How long did it take you to close and on what type of property was it?

Hello Everyone,

I’m looking to buying my first property

Trying to buy a multifamily

Ideally a Triplex or Quadplex

I'll be house hacking it, and hopefully using a VA Loan

So the real question is which lender is the best option for me?

I tried using Navy Fed which is the bank that I have my accounts with and was hoping the did finance multifamily and they do... but only a duplex and single family.

-Any tips on other good lenders for VA loans and multifamily?

-USAA maybe?

- any other tips are highly appreciated it!

@Harjeet Bhatti

Good to go,

What paperwork would you recommend I have ready before actually talking about a loan?

Va Approval letter?

Pay stubs?
