@Bruce Lynn thanks for sharing, really good info, seems like FL is closing some loops. In this case the BK was recorded before the foreclosure sale, but submitted to the foreclosure case docket after the sale was conducted. I wonder if the bidder who won is getting his money back

@Jesse Morrell wouldn't you be looking at a notice of sale from the court before bidding? How do you end up buying a lien?

I am studying following a foreclosure auction case. A foreclosure sale was conducted and the bidding winner got a Certificate of Sale Issued on 07/06/20

Defendant/Owner filed for Bankruptcy on 07/03/20, the suggestion of BK was filled on 07/14/20.

I was wondering if the bid winner would receive his money back and what are the next steps, I understand that the automatic stay protects the owner of the property from foreclosure

What are the possible scenarios to follow?
