I guess nothing I can do about the competition, I just need to learn how to compete better.

People who doing business in New York, Long Island will know what I am talking about.

To @Simon Shih, I got the lead from ditect mail and gouse is iff tge market,not on MLS and there are 10 investors looking at it. The seller said she got two letters,people calling her,and the neighbors next door made an offer

Thank you so much for your positive responses. What I am doing right now is I find deals off the market and giving them to rehabbers. But even those deals are off the market there are may be 10 other investors looking at them and making offers. Too much competition, I dont know if our offers will be accepted,rehabbers offer very low prices.

I live on Long Island, NY and there is a lot of competition between the investors to buy the property. I am trying to put the property under contract that is off the market and there are other may be 10 investors also looking at it and making the offers.

I know it is a lot of competition everywhere in New York City - Queens, Brooklyn and Long  Island. 

What are your suggestions about overcoming the competition and getting the deal?
