@Paul Welden okay lets say I do it that way and look at a four plex with me being a primary resident there, would they still finance that amount for the four plex since surely it would cost more then just a single family home?

Is an FHA 203k loan recommended for your very first rental property? I've been reading different ways to get started and this one sticks out to me the most.
