So I've been thinking to myself if I should get an LLC or not? For my rental property investments in the future. Wanted to know if anyone has ever done that? And the pros and cons If any. Thank you so much.

Trying to figure out my entry point into real estate. Starting with such a low amount I would love to hear if it's possible to BRRR with 20k cash? Maybe find a private lender and put up my cash as a down payment? Or what other options are out there to BRRR? Maybe even tell personal story of how you might have accomplished your BRRR with a lower amount of cash to start off with? I know I could always house hack with an FHA loan but really love the power of BRRR.

Hello bigger pockets!! Truly a privilege to be here. Wasn’t blessed with the ability to be around people that know anything about real estate investing at all so this is major to me. I’m a 27 year old ex athlete pursing as much knowledge I can soak up before I start my next chapter in life with real estate investing! I won’t be starting my investment journey until I do my due diligence in learning the art, so if that’s not til next year I’m fine with it. Here to be a sponge and soak up everything there is to know. Thank you for taking ANY time out of your day to give advice or anything. Trust me your in for one heck of a journey with me!

Strive for greatness.

What are the biggest differences between the two ways of real estate investing? Both positive and negative.

@Justin Sullivan you are the man! Thanks for all the knowledge! I've finally after days of research found the way I will take in my real estate journey and it is much the same route you took. The FHA way has its benifits but not what I want to do. I absolutely love the BRRRR method. It makes more sense for my situation also.

@Paul Welden that makes a lot more sense that’s for clarifying. If you don’t mind me asking what was your process of obtaining your first rental property? The more I read the more I see there’s a few different options. I ultimately want to learn enough to make the best decision for me and hit the ground running!

@Justin Sullivan I appreciate that insight big time! I’m looking to getting my first rental down the line and trying to weigh my options on how to get started. So many different ways to start rental investments so wanted to hear how other people go started and such.
