Hello everyone, I have just been pre-qualified for my first home. I am a baby investor looking how to start out and use this to my advantage to begin my real estate investment portfolio. If you were in my situation what would you recommend? 300k pre-qual.

@Joe Villeneuve

Hey Guys, thank you so much for all those thought provoking questions. I don’t have any of the details yet, waiting for the seller to email me. But all those questions have my wheels turning and thinking it might not be such a great deal after all.

Hey Guys,

Found a pretty decent size home for lease to own option. I’m a first timer on this. Any thoughts on lease to own? Strategies etc? Home going for 290k. Homes in the area are going for 320K. I think there might be a deal to be made. House needs some work, but I don’t have a quote on the work needed yet.

@Dalyn Hazell

Awesome thanks again for that, that’s definitely a great question to ask and I plan on doing so!

@Dalyn Hazell

Hey Dalyn, Thanks so much for commenting on my question! I’m not familiar with these fees. Can you tell me just a bit more, for example maybe a ballpark % in these fees? Or what the fee is called?

Thanks again! Loving bigger pockets so much because of cool people willing to share their knowledge like you and Ashley!

I’m an aspiring real estate agent. I have not gotten my license yet, just beginning courses. My main interest is in investing (which I’m also just learning about) and I’d like to know if there are any special rules or laws that would hinder my property investment opportunities while being a licensed real estate agent.

I know that I don’t need to be a real estate agent to invest but I’d like to do both.
