@Drew Sygit Thank you, for your feedback. I’m scared to invest into Detroit now. Lol. Sounds a little too risky for me. I’ll wait to find the best deal with my pennies. And btw that time I’ll continue learning.

Thanks for your opinion. I’m from Detroit, 48224.Family own a party store on Gratiot 48213 been there and operating for over 40 years. However, I moved out the city well over 20 years ago. Ford Field is 10 minutes 4.4 miles, Littler Caesar Arena 11 minutes 5.0 miles, and Comerica Park 11 minutes 4.6 miles. With all the renovations going on I thought it would be a good buy. According to Zillow a house two doors down is over $100k. I remember hearing the Qline suppose to go down gratiot rd as well. This is a property I plan on taking my time with maybe a year or so.

Hello, I’m a very new investor. I’m working with $30k cash. I found a property in Detroit in the 48213 area code. The property is $8k need full rehab. The property is very close to downtown, freeway, gratiot (busy street) and FCA just bought a building less than 3 miles away. It’s a older home built in 1911 I believe, but it doesn’t have a driveway. Street parking only. It’s in a developing area. Block not to bad. The question is will this be a good investment for me? Do you believe I’ll have a good return from this property? Clear title as well.
