@Theresa Harris I really appreciate your advice!

@Sam Hecht Thank you for your advice! It definitely shined some light.

I’m a 19 year old college student (soon to be 20), and real estate investing has been on my mind constantly over the past year. I’ve been reading books, listening to podcasts, joining webinars, etc. to educate myself as much as I can. I am eager to start investing, but paying for college is coming in between me saving cash for my first investment. With that being said, does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I’m unsure if I need to just focus on school now and switch gears after I get a career established, or if there may be another way to start sooner. I’ve heard about wholesaling, but I can’t believe that it’s really as easy as it seems. I also would like to find a mentor, but I’m not sure of where I could find one.

I would also love to hear about how you guys got started on your REI journey.
