@Joanne Eriaku

Thank you Joanne. I will continue my journey of gaining knowledge. From what everyone says I need to come with some skills and deal analysis to make it. This is something I will take my time with no matter how excited I am to jump in. I just purchased a book on house hacking so I will start there.

@Jonathan Greene

Thanks for your input. I'm unable to get FHA and I want to acquire rental properties. You are right I'll need 20% minimum jumping into this. I'll definitely take your advice and goto meetups to learn as much as I can. You said the magic words ‘Be patient'. I know not only myself would love to just jump into a deal hoping it works out. I will take my time and continue learning.

@Michael J Scanlon

I’ll definitely appreciate any advice. I’m going to do a little research on house hacking and write a list of anything I need help with.

@Will Fraser

Thanks Will you’re exactly right. I will need to find what I can bring to the table since this is very new to me. Once I do that I should be golden.

Thanks for your input. I recently bought my first home two years ago and I didn’t know much about real estate. Since then I just been learning non stop and now I want to invest in properties. Reason why 20% is not an option right now. I used a portion to make upgrades to my existing house now. I wish I knew about this earlier but here I am now lol.

Hello Fellow BP’s,

New investor here and I’m looking for some advice on getting into real estate. I’m currently looking in the Connecticut Area. Since I’m not able to put 20% down I’d like to know where’s a good starting place. I was told to assign contracts but I don’t see how that’s for beginners if we never made a sale before. Please advise.

Thanks,

Ty
