@Shaun Weekes they use a work number. I think they verify my work but they also let the lender know when my last day of employment was as well.

If I have a co signer would they be a partner on the deal? How would that work?

@Dion McNeeley I’m working at Chrysler currently. I thought most lenders want you to be at your job at least a year or more?

I worked on the production line. I’m not going to be laid off until next month 2days before I’m suppose to close on the property.

They might keep me as temporary part time but I won’t know until weeks from now. Which is slowing up my appraisal process.

Im almost at the end of buying my first deal and it looks like my financing might fall through. I’ve been at my job going on 4 years but I will be in the group to be laid off!

I don’t know what to do at this moment. Any suggestions?

@Shaun J. repainting cabinets, laying tile in kitchen and bathroom. New vanity, toilet, pretty much rehabbing two bathrooms and two kitchens.

I wanted to get some opinions on what would be better? Doing the work myself and learning as I go or paying someone with experience to do it faster?

You should check out Rockford, IL. I’ve seen some nice single family homes that need a little TLC in high cap areas.

@Dion McNeeley thank you! My goal is to do another duplex deal next year. I’m thinking of doing a fix and hold. Hopefully everything thing goes well and I can get approved for that second deal. I’ll check him out.
