The ranch is located in Northwest Texas. It covers 520,000 acres (eight counties) equating to 800 square miles more/less. The ranch was once known to have the second largest shallow oil field in Texas.

Currently, 350,000 acres of the property is undeveloped with verified oil reserves. The current oil reserves are estimated in the billions of dollars. The property has historically produced over 200 million barrels of oil.
