@Jack Glazer

Im actually looking for the other side of your target. I live south of Atlanta in Williamson (just outside of Griffin). I've been putting off getting into real estate simply because of the investment. If you're looking for the hustle, and I'm local and looking for the capitol, we may be able to help eachother out. Let me know if this may be something you're interested in.

I took my real estate exam through an in-person course many years ago. The one thing I can say, is that I took online practice tests on a number of different websites. You can find them for free all over. Some online courses don't necessarily line up exactly with the Georgia real estate exam so I would say take as many practice tests as possible. The more questions you get right on various practice test, the better chance you have at hitting a homerun your first chance at the plate. Be careful with an online course though. My wife took her course online a few years ago and realize that when she went to the exam, half of the questions were never actually discussed in the course. I know this may sound a little scary no, but more information is always better then a surprise. And congratulations!

@Douglas Halperin

I may not be able to help you out with the details on multifamily investments here in Macon but I should be able to help you out with locations and areas. I don't live in Macon and I'm not from here but I do work in Macon and my job is to travel all over the the area. Because of this, I've offered 2 give some ground feedback to other investors if you'd like someone in the area to drive buy a property. If this is something you'd be interested in, you can let me know the addresses of the units you're interested in and I can do what local digging I can to get you some more info. I can't post my phone number on a BP Forum but I have it listed on my profile. If you'd like to give me a call, feel free.

@Rick Klopp

I personally bank with United Bank but the farthest location South, close to Macon, is in Bolingbrook. However, I work in Macon and I'm interested in meeting more investors in the market. Reach out to me directly I can help on anything local. You can send me a message and I'll send you my phone number since I can't add it on the BP forums.

Alf, I see you talking about the Macon area. I'm actually a newbie to REI and I'm looking to gain some hands on experience before buying my first deal. I live outside of Griffin but I work in Macon and my job (in sales) has me driving all over Macon every day. I'm perfectly willing to help you out on the ground if you need it. If you end up finding a property online but don't want to make the drive to Macon to check it out, let me know. I can swing by, give you a quick video chat, and probably give you an idea of the rehab costs on site. The only thing I ask in return is conversation. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in.
