Hey guys,

On November 18th @ 7pm myself and @jamierose will be hosting a meetup at 49th State brewing company! All are welcome to come! The first 20 minutes will be comprised of a presentation by myself and Jamie about How to Scale your portfolio after your first deal and How to Find a Mentor. After the presentation has completed, you are welcome to stay and enjoy a drink and network with other investors!

Excited to see you there!

Hi Heather,

I use the BP leases and they are a great baseline. I would add and take out items as necessary dependent on what you would want in your leases. You can download them as a word doc and customize as you please. For example, I have a storage unit on one of my properties and I added a section in the lease stating how much a storage unit was per month.

Hope this helps!

Hey man,

Congrats on closing in your 4-plex! I use the BiggerPockets lease agreement as a baseline and then add things that might be property specific. (I.e. storage conex, easements, etc.) Hopefully this helps!

In my opinion, the MOST important thing you can do is to get the right mindset for going long-term in this business. I would highly suggest reading books like 12 Week Year, Vivid Vision, and Traction to name a few. Your mindset is the foundation to establishing the pillars of success in any business.

Once that foundation is set, definitely look into the BRRRR book and the Multi-Family Millionaire to give you information on what vehicle you could pursue.

Good luck to you on your journey!

No problem Jason! I am by no means trying to steal you away from your agent. There is also a possibility of a co-representation if we want.

I’m definitely still interested in connecting and telling you what I know about the Anchorage market!
