I appreciate all the support and advice from you all. My main focus right now is to wholesale a couple deals to get financially stable enough to buy a house or put down a solid down payment , and invest into a rental property as well.

Hello BP, My name is Tyler and I am 22 years old and fairly new to the real estate field. I've been going to reia meetings and seminars for the past 6 months now learning as much as I possibly can about wholesaling and rehabbing. My only concern right now is my student debt and credit. I would appreciate any advice as to taking my first step towards buying a home and living in it while rehabbing at the same time or to stay where i am now and buy the property to work on it in any spare time I have.
