Hello, I am a new member. My wife and I live in Fort Worth, Texas. We currently own 6 houses, 5 in Texas and 1 in California. We purchased 5 of the houses in Texas through a home equity loan in 2005 while living in California. We moved from California to Texas in 2010. Now, we rent the house in California and moved into one of the rentals in Texas and manage the 4 houses in Texas ourselves as well as the 1 house in California. No action on any purchases since our purchase of the 5 rentals in 2005.  Our goal is to gain knowledge through others so that we can move out of stagnation in order to acquire new properties for passive income.
