I am interested how this has played out. Can you share with us how you dealt with the situation, and how it has worked out?

Let me start by saying this. I have not read this book. However I have read a bunch over the years, and I can tell you that many of the strategies that will be found in this book may no longer be allowed by banks, or in some cases even still be legal. Being that this book was written in 2004, it is likely a safe guess that much of the financing advice will no longer be sound. Though much of the other advice may still be relevant. I would look for a book written since 2010. That is just my opinion.

I have only been doing this for a year, and I am only now looking into finding a group. That is one of the reasons for signing up here. I have already read some great topics, and hope to find local people to help one another out.

My name is Trevor. I own 2 units now, and am set to close on a 4 unit in a month. I live in DuPage county, and that is where all of my rentals are located as well. I am always looking to meet like minded folks, and hopefully continue growing my business into a full time job.
