I am beginning to wholesale properties in the Triangle, Fayetteville, and surrounding areas. I would love to connect with other investors in the area.

@Jonathan Taylor Smiththat would be great. You can inbox me a time that you are free so that we can meet up. I'm usually free most weekdays after I get off of work at 5.

I'm also looking to get started in investing in the Fayetteville area. I'm currently living in Raleigh but, I'm from Fayetteville and am always back in the area for family. So far, my plan is to also invest in single family homes.

You all helping out a lot. It seems I would have to more than likely go the FHA or partner route.

The main issue that I am running into is the down payment. I do not have enough in personal savings to cover one for a loan on an investment property. So, I know I'll need to get creative in order to start out this way.

Hey Everyone,

I'm really looking to get started in investing but, I am unsure of the best way to get started. I am currently renting an apartment but I would like to purchase an investment property before purchasing my own home being that I may be in a different area soon. I'm sure this is probably unusual but, do you all have any ideas or suggestions on ways that I could possibly go about doing this?

John,

That is what I want to do and, I plan on speaking with a mortgage broker soon just to see how much I can possibly begin with before looking at any properties. I would like to begin soon in order to prevent myself from staying in the researching stage too long.

I'll try to make sure that I make the next meeting. Do most investors create a business before going out to buy their first property?
