I can agree. Lubbock is a great market, and so is the West area of Texas. I consider it the mutual fund of Texas, and prices maintain very well, and returns are stable. You can get very good property for the money, and in Lubbock we do not rely on energy, but mainly have a medical HUD and Texas Tech University which will always drive traffic and bring people to this area. I currently invest in the area myself

I currently live and invest in Lubbock. It has shown to be pretty resilient to harsh changing markets, it is pretty stable. I call it the mutual fund of real estate. Prices are still pretty low compared to other markets, around $150,000 for a good 3/2 possibly garage as well. Multi family is hard to find here that is  a larger property, we mostly have duplexes which can end up being pricey.

Some good potential here, and appreciation plays.

Hey good morning! I do a little bit of everything here, from investing/flipping to property management to realtor. It is a safe market from my experience, and without covid years, steady increase. Doesn’t skyrocket up, or see the bottom lows. I call it the real estate mutual fund
