 Thanks @Shawn G.

@ Andres Thanks for the information. Yes I am lucky to have a career that gives me the opportunity to grow personally, so I can eventually leave the company (don’t tell them that lol). I’ve been researching for a few months now, and have rested on a focus of rental property cashflow. I’ve spoken with a number of long time investors, who have been in my circle of influence for quite some time, and I never knew! (Who woulda thought?) We have discussed (over Heinekens) the many avenues of this industry, and the BRRRR strategy is a focus I would like to take since it affords me the “Rinse and repeat” opportunity. I would like to learn more about your successes and lessons regarding the market in Orlando, since it’s in my back yard. I am open to all of Florida though, since I travel the state for work. Thank you for the perspective and hopefully we can chat and network even more

Ken Breeze Thanks for the detailed reply! I have utilized a few of the recommendations you have listed, but there are some that I will definitely look to utilize to help me on my journey. I will reach out to you about the MF opportunities as I am definitely interested, and would like more intel and perspective on MF units and the process(es) involved. Thanks again.

Hey BP community! As with most newbies, I have thrown myself into BP’s forums, webinars, and any and all books I can get my hands on. I feel like a college student who is ready to put their studies and knowledge into action! While the entire REI industry excites me, I am deciding to jump into the buy and hold/rental income segment 1st My story- I currently live in Orlando Florida, and intend on purchasing my first few properties in the state, targeting Central and North Florida Areas. I want to focus my efforts around colleges and new distribution centers/manufacturing hubs in the area. My current full time career gives me a ton of flexibility and time to research, and visit properties throughout the state. I would love to connect with, and get some insight from anyone who is currently active in the central and north Florida areas. Any suggestions on meet ups in the area, or other networking opportunities? Also, I am always down for a good old fashion coffee or lunch connection with like minded individuals. And for those who wouldn’t mind an adult beverage while networking, I will always be happy to buy rounds of ice cold Heinekens! (current career plug! Lol) I look forward to learning more and meeting many of you as I read and post more in this awesome forum. Trae
