Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your weeks are shaping up strong.

I will be on the road for a while this afternoon and want to know: If you had to narrow it down to 1, what book would you recommend I listen to regarding investing in RE, focused on rehabbing then renting (buy and hold?).

Sorry if this was already discussed (I'm sure it has been).

Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys/Gals -

A family-friend of mine has multiple investment properties that he manages. He does everything from finding the deals, the rehab, finding tenants, managing the property, etc all himself. I'm meeting with him this weekend to ask some questions on how to get started and be successful at it.

I don't currently have any RE aside from my own residence, so I'm starting out, brand new, with little to no money available (aside from equity in my house). The reason I'm making this post is I'm hoping you all can give me some good questions to ask him that would be beneficial to know.

Do you think it would be out of line to offer any services to him (helping with rehabs?) in exchange for more meetings to receive tips/instruction/etc?

I'm sure you're all busy, so I appreciate your time.

No problem, thanks for letting me know!

Afternoon All -

I was about to purchase The Ultimate Package that includes the digital/audio/physical book, a bonus book, 7 one-on-one interviews, and a 2 hour no and low money down webinar replay. However, when I go to purchase, it doesn't include the 2 hour webinar and is changed to a 1 hour wholesaling roundtable discussion.  Am I missing something here?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the information and encouraging words, everyone! I'm excited to get started and want to focus my time in the right way. I'll be sure to look at The Ultimate Beginner's Guide, listen to the podcasts, look at the blog posts, and will definitely start making connections. I may even look for a local mentor that can tell me when I'm about to make a poor decision (I'll be sure to keep him busy).

Thanks again, everyone!

Hello Everyone -

I want to have my money tied up in RE, rather than the stock market. I also believe the ability to manage the business of RE whether it be renting, flipping, etc, is a great skill to have. This is not a skill I currently possess and have no idea how to get started, what to look for, what I need on the back-end (lawyers, contractors, etc), and I don't know what I don't know, so I literally have no idea what I'm doing. Don't confuse that with a lack of confidence, though.

I figured this would be a good place to not know what I'm doing, so you guys (and gals) can potentially help me, at the very least, have an understanding of this thing we call Real Estate.

My ultimate goal? Create a business that allows me to do this full time, and pass on the skills I learn to my son so he doesn't turn out like most of the people of my generation. It's quite a lofty goal, but that's why I want to pursue it (Miracle).

Thanks in advance for your patience!

- Tony

P.S. I have no idea what I'm doing..
