@Hayden Wright Hi Hayden! As a fellow newbie with 0 deals under my belt I often struggle with ways to provide value on BP.
That said, I work in radio and you should absolutely start a podcast ... if that’s something you want to do.
I think one of the most important things in a host is authenticity. You have to eat, drink & breath your subject matter. Show prep is absolutely key. That doesn’t mean you have to know everything, but just that you’ve thought about the topic and have something to say (or that you know the right questions to ask).
You have to do the show because the show is important to you, not because of whatever else might come from it. I agree with the other posters saying commit and not worry too much about the response.
Also, don’t be afraid to open up about yourself, that’s what people will connect to most.
Oh...and a cool name helps. But that might be the hardest part lol
