Hey @Ian Cosley thanks for chiming in. You are spot on, Feeling the same way as you describe, invest in somewhere that is not too far to Be able to check up on the properties and far enough to not have to pay for LA/OC prices. How are your rentals on Victorville and Hesperia? Did you go through an agent to find the properties?

@Aaron K. I do not want to go to far at least in the beginning,  I’ll make sure I take a look at Redlands been there before. Lake Elsinore never been. Do you have many experiences specifically with the inland empire area?

@Aaron K. thank you for your insight really appreciate you for chiming in. Where do you recommend starting out with my first rental?

@Ethan G Stine appreciate your response! And I would love to hear about your experiences in Victorville. The BRRRR strategy seems to be the fastest for scaling in real estate. Love to learn more about the strategy as well.

If you don’t mind I’ll PM you with a few questions on your real estate journey so far.

Hello everyone just getting my feet wet with my second post, knowing that this is the best real estate platform for all levels of real estate, just wanted to pick everyone’s brains who has had success in Southern California outside of the Orange County, areas like Bakersfield, Victorville, sun city etc or even in the inland empire as well. Hope everyone can chime on in!

I will give it a shot @Jacob Repreza, thanks for your input and everyone else as well. @Jacob Repreza if you don’t mind can we connect? If that’s ok I’ll send a request, love to chat with like minded people.

Hey guys thanks for chiming in appreciate the love! Definitely getting into this for the cash flow and a little bit of appreciate if both the better! I prefer to invest in my back yard As well, @Jacob Repreza very interested in what you said going to the outskirts.

Is there an agent that anyone would recommend Working with for areas like Bakersfield sun city And Victorville?

Thanks again guys!

Hi my name is Tony,

I live in southern California, Orange County to be exact. I have never invested in real estate before And would like to get started. From what I’ve gathered is I will have to invest out of state due to insufficient cash flow deals in southern California. I’ve read “long distance real estate investing” and taken a lot of valuable content from the book.  still afraid of investing out of state.

Though afraid I am looking into Texas (not sure specific location) for at least a SFR/duplex with Minimal work to get started.

Hope everyone can chime in about Any ideas experiences and knowledge With investing out of state.

thank you everyone in advance.
