Possible investment opportunity.

Looking for advice on a unique position my family is in. My parents have approximately 1 acre of land on the island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam; some say it's the "Hawaii" of Vietnam. They are wanting to sell the property however there are some legal speed bumps. My parents own the property on paper but my father's brother currently has the power of attorney over the property since my family lives in the U.S. and we needed someone to represent us while out of country. Currently he is trying to take the property from underneath us for himself and we are fighting him for our rights back. My parents ultimately want to sell the property all said and done. The property value is in the millions.

Any advice would be appreciated on what actions we could take.

@Lara White, unfortunately we’re not allowed off the ship due to COVID restrictions from the smaller islands. We travel anywhere from Papa New Guinea to Hawaii but typically stay around the island of Nauru, the Marshall, Kiribati, and Micronesian Islands.

 I’d like to start in the Kissimmie/ Orlando area and expand however, I would like to do out of state as well particularly but not limited to the South East, Arizona,Texas, Utah and Nevada.

@Sam Wilson it was always a dream of mine to become a pilot, after the military I found a program to help me achieve my certificates. Finding this job was essentially through a colleague of mine. It truly is like they say, “it’s  all about who you know”

Hello BP family, I’m currently living on a 200ft fishing vessel traveling around the Greater Pacific Ocean. My job is to fly a helicopter and search for schools of tuna! I’m learning as much as I can about investing while on this one year journey from reading books listening to podcasts and practicing analyzing properties while I have internet approximately once a month for a few days.

I’m originally located in Orlando, FL and plan to purchase a 4-plex to start house hacking with once I’m home.

Long term goal is to have a portfolio of multifamily properties.
