One group to check out is the BWI Meetup. I have been to all the clubs in the area and this is the best group. You will see a lot of the local BP members there.  But as Paul points out above  you should check out some of the other groups too.

I would also set up some"Keyword Alerts" for Baltimore and other topics that interest you. You will get notified when someone post about those keywords.

Thanks Ned! Is that the same meeting as the reia that meets at the Marriott every 3rd Thursday? I was planning on going to that next month. 

Hello all, my name is Tommy. I am a carpenter/remodeler looking to transition into real estate investing starting with wholesaling. I have done quite a bit of research and have begun taking the steps to build a buyers list. If anyone could give me any advice I would greatly appreciate it, also if their are any investors in the Baltimore area who would be willing to help out a newbie or "take me under their wing" that would be great. I plan on finding and attending the Baltimore area real estate investing club if their is one. Thanks for all the info you guys have already given me!
