@Billy Smith dont think that was ever the issue, but the fact that I was making money and maybe was not as sold or focused on their business. They never warned me or brought it up directly. Both dealers I worked for in the past were the same, they could get rich and plan for their future, but they did not want me to.

@Kimberly Cardona what I kind post by you. Thank you. I am a caring person and always try to help so this was a tough situation for sure. But, I really did not enjoy the car business any longer after 31 years, 25 of those in management. The internet had killed new car profits and working Saturdays with never getting two days off in a row was the killer having a little grandbaby. Thanks again and best wishes to you !

@Ryan Howell congrats to you Ryan! I had been a sales manager for 25 years, and have always had a level of success so many did not understand why I wanted and loved real estate. Truth is, it was my true passion and how I got ahead in life financially. That simple. I wish you the best !

@James Wise I was a sales manager of a dealership. Many people had down time and I always exceeded expectations. 95% of calls I took were not RE related but “perception is reality” and jealousy seemed to prevail at times. My job was 100% commission, and I never punched a clock, was not salary, or anything like that i got paid purely by my direct production and my numbers ALWAYS prevailed. Truth is, my owner had talked about selling the last 5 years as many departments were not profitable, but my area of sales and finance was not the issue. And, every year when we did a review I asked what I could improve on and he said “nothing”. I never had a bad review or any bad notation. Covid was my perfect storm and he told me he may hand his keys in and fold and showed me a lot of fear. My post was just the icing on the cake as he never liked me doing RE and the fact I stated I was exiting my W2 in two years, coupled with the fact that COVID fears paralyzed him and his son clearly told me that. That creepy woman did not help me at all and she clearly stalked me over a conversation about Portland announcements about eviction freezes back in march. I have no regrets but I wanted to warn others about what happened to me. I always enjoyed your CLAYTON MORRIS posts btw, and years ago my son talked me off the ledge as I was impressed by their work. Thank you to my son as I would have lost money and that issue would have really interfered at my work, haha.

@Martin Neal exactly why I have been so hard. It happened two years early and I did not see COVID in my plans but this too shall pass. Life is good

@Wade Kulesa been going strong since 2001 and created $4 million net worth and $13000 in monthly cash flow.  Doing RE Dave’s way, I would be stuck in the rat race and no financial freedom. I also took his course and was the only one in the room who refused to cut up my credit card.  His advice is solid for the average American, but I don’t want to be average is my problem.
